Originally from Austria and Transylvania, Johannisberg was introduced in Valais in the middle of the 19th Century.

Fragrance : It discloses grilled almond, hazelnut and camomile flavours.
Taste : A powerful wine marked with a velvety touch and has an elegant and smooth after taste balanced with a slight bitterness.

Ideal serving temperature : 12-14°C
Preservation : 5 to 20 years.
Fermentation : Traditional, on sediment.
Name : AOC Valais.
Culinary accompaniments : Asparagus, shellfish, sauerkraut, Asian dishes and soft cheeses.
