Torpâ

This sublime dry white, made from a blend of Païen and Marsanne grapes and ages very well.

Vine variety : Savagnin Blanc and Marsanne.

Colour : Golden yellow.

Fragrance : Citrus fruit, grilled almonds, hazelnut, vanilla, smoky.

Taste : Strong, rich, lively, complex, full-bodied and with a superb after taste coming from Païen's acidity.

Alcohol : 13.5% vol.

Ideal serving temperature : 14-16°C

Preservation : 10 to 15 years.

Fermentation : On sediment in vats.

Name : Swiss table wine.

Culinary accompaniments : Aperitif, shellfish, crayfish, lobster, salt water fish, calf's sweetbread or kidney, white meat, salmon, tuna, cheese from high mountain pastures, old cheese, cheese tray.
